Big Crowd for “Who Donut?”
Sunday, August 18th was the “World Premiere” of our short film Who Donut? at the Grandville Theater in Columbus. Between crew, friends and family, Terminal Velocity Films had 21 people in attendance!
Much of our crew made it, including Alex Wey, Jackson Coates, Julia Brown, Mike Blessing, Pamela Blessing (with her boyfriend), Patricia A. Blessing and Terry D. Coates.
The rest of Terry’s immediate family was there, along with two sisters, a brother-in-law, and a neice with two of her friends. Julia Brown’s parents, sister and her boyfriend were also there.
Thanks to everyone who came out to see our film (and the other films). As you can see from the photo, the 150-seat theatre was pretty full.
Comments from Terry
When asked to share a good thing/bad thing about the film weekend, Team Leader Terry D. Coates shared how writing a “Whodonit” was much harder than expected, but also how much we laughed during the writing session.
He also shared how no scratch audio was sent to the camera while filming the interrogation scenes, which complicated editing at a time when complications are the last thing a team needs!
What’s Next?
The audience voted for their choice and the judges screen the films next. Awards will be given out and a “Best of” screening will happen in th enera future as well.
We’ll post more when we know more!
